PriceMDs directory and services offer you a wide range of elective outpatient procedures and imaging with no copay cost. Our directory has over 1,600 contracted facilities across the U.S. with choice and access to more than 400 surgical procedures, including orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and gastroenterology. You’ll have a dedicated Nurse Navigator (NN) and Care Coordinator (CC) to find a NearCare® location near you and manage your case.

The entire episode of care for surgery includes a pre-operative consultation, any pre-operative labs, facility, surgeon, anesthesiologist, implant (if needed), durable medical equipment discharged with the patient, and a post-operative consultation. All of this is included with our services to ensure that our outpatient centers deliver the best and most cost-effective ValueCare® service seamlessly.

PRICEMDs NEARCARE® COST CONTAINMENT

Patient experience

Get Started

Patient has spoken with a provider who recommends a procedure or consultation with a specialist.

02.

Nurse Intake

Patient calls a PriceMDs nurse or completes the secure Surgical Intake Form and a PriceMDs RN will reach out within one business day.

03.

Facility Selection

A PriceMDs RN presents the patient with a list of facilities near the patient’s zip code and the patient selects a facility.

04.

Medical Records

Patient signs HIPAA release form and a PriceMDs RN gathers the patient’s medical records.

05.

Consultation

The PriceMDs nurse will coordinate with the patient to schedule a consultation with a specialist at the center in PriceMDs directory.

06.

Scheduling

Once the specialist confirms the need for surgical intervention, the patient is scheduled for surgery.

07.

Pre-Op Preparation

Patient completes pre-op labs if needed and receives vouchers in lieu of their insurance card to present on the day of their procedure.

Zero co-pay and your entire episode of care may be zero cost!

The entire episode of care for PriceMDs bundled procedures includes the preoperative visit with a surgeon, any pre-op labs, facility, surgeon, anesthesiology, pathology, durable medical equipment discharged with patient and implant if needed, and a post-op consultation.

This is an out-of-network program funded by your employer that offers additional saving opportunities, such as waiving all out-of-pocket expenses (no deductibles or copays). You will be assigned a dedicated Nurse Navigator and Care Coordinator to assist you through the entire process. PriceMDs offers choice and access to additional out of network facilities.

Your employer must be a client of PriceMDs. You or a dependent must be on your employer’s medical plan. Your doctor has given you a diagnosis which requires surgery or imaging. Once a patient selects a facility, that facility’s physician confirms the necessity of the procedure.
